Hey, I've just recently got the C1. It's an improvement over the old Superlux LDC i've been using. At first I didn't think the difference was much at all, but the gap is widening each time I record and listen. I'm still learning how to get the most out of it, but I'm fairly happy. I will say that it wasn't what I expected from reading reviews, but it's sounding better and better to me all the time. I also upgraded pre-amps from a berry mx-series mixer to a dmp3. Now that's a difference, too.
