Six hours and fried. Quit in the middle of a song, no surge, spike, nothing.

That's a bummer... but this is not the Studio Projects/PMI Audio problem message board... you need to report your Studio Projects mic problems to PMI Audio and not here... otherwise this message board might be filled with nothing but Studio Project mic problems. Good luck.skeelsd said:Six hours and fried. Quit in the middle of a song, no surge, spike, nothing.

Call PMI at 877-563-6335 and explain your problem. They do have excellent customer service and you should be well taken care of.
freshmattyp is right... sorry skeelsd, I apologize, and I hope you get your Studio Projects B1 mic fixed, replaced, or get a refund that you can put towards getting a better mic. Good luck.freshmattyp said:Lets give a newbie a break here. Maybe he was looking for others with a similar experience.
Do a search and you'll find that there are others who have had problems also. The B1 is a pretty new mic on the market and sometimes it takes a while before problems surface... and we hear about them. Overall, I don't think the B1 has had many problems... a few, but not that many... but like I said before, the B1 is new... and only time will tell how well it's really made.skeelsd said:Originally posted by freshmattyp

Thanks for response. Glad to see it's an isolated problem.
How many days ago did you send them the mic... and how many days did they say it would take to fix?skeelsd said:SP folks very apologetic. Hopefully, will have it back soon and let on to the problem(s).

Thanks skeelsd... bummer. I'm curious how long it takes them to correct the problem so please keep me up to date with what happens. Thanks again.skeelsd said:over 10 days. they haven't indicated when I'll get it.
