Let's say you have professional grade studio monitors, your room is correctly treated, and
all other sound variable issues have been solved in your studio.

As an experiment, you run test tones from 40hz to 10khz 0db through them.

Should all frequencies be equal in volume?

If your room was really 100% perfect and your monitors had a 100% flat frequency response! (In other words, unlikely!)

What you would look for first was to hope that there were no nodes.
