Question for the studio veterans,,,,

Whats a good souding/quality studio headphone to use thats affordable?
I know you can spend up to a zillion dollars on great headphones, but I am talking home studio level>?>? So far I have been looking at the SONY 600's or the SONY 7506's for about $75.00 to $80.00.

Anyone else have any better suggestions for that price range? (or even have any they want to sell at a good price?)

Thanks

I have GK-Music ultraphones, which have 7506 drivers. they rock!

Heard alot of good about the Senn HD280's.........

Don't have em tho....

Sony MDR-v6s or 7506s are good, dont get the 600s though, those are much worse.

I've had the same pair of Grado SR80's for about 6 years now, and they've served me very well... I've seen them advertised for about $95, a bit more than you wanted to spend but worth checking out....

The grados are very warm and biased. It might be better to go for a more neutral pair for studio monitoring.
