Yes. I have used "staggs" for around $5, and was not happy. Yet, when I pay "$8" for D'addario's I'm happy. All I care about, is if I'm happy.

fyi - to all you d'addario users out there. i have it on good source that the danelectro strings are exactly the same as your straight up d'addario strings, but a few bucks cheaper. i've used them and they sure seem like the same strings to me.
