Yeah, I wonder if ZZ top ever actually did street busking - probably not but i bet it would have been interesting.

Holy Shit another person from Windsor comes to the site lol
I need some damn money i'm about to pan handle but I don't want ppl who know me to see me doing it. Me and my cousin were thinkin of rapping downtown accapella style for some change but I dont know if it would fly. But $400 a weekend is some nice money

Man I just had an Idea. I still have my long hair at 40, so I could still look real down and out if I wanted too. I should make the wife put a pillow under her shirt and act pregnant and grab my acoustic and go to pioneer square in Porltand. Im gonna try this.

Dude... don't think of it as panhandling... it's not. Pan handlers beg for money... just set up somewhere with your instrument, leave the case open and play like you would at any venue

If so... thanks - about the site. About the tunes on the music page, it's a Shockwave Movie with embeded sound. Takes about 30 seconds to load on high speed... if yer on dialup takes about a year! The play and stop buttons will appear in the box as each song loads.

Just sharing............

A friend and I are putting together a 25 venue circuit for summer

busking along a stretch of highway in Central B.C. called the Gold Rush Trail. The idea is to entertain tourists in tour bus stops,campgrounds, dude ranches etc.
The musicians would sell tapes/CDs as well as play for donations if they choose.
Music makes a great souvenier...

Lots of room for acts------I can't do it all the time and my friend can't be everywhere...

Kinda like the old days-----Woody Guthrie, Leadbelly, etc.


This could work everywhere..............
