This is a songwriting forum, not a poetry forum. Can we stop with all the lyrics? I want to hear actual music. This site is for home recording enthusiasts.

The music is in the MP3 mixing clinic.

People post their lyrics here for help with songwriting. Like Purge said, the music is in the mp3 clinic.

I agree. There should be a separate section for lyrics/poetry. Trying to help somebody with their song by only reading the lyrics is like trying to help an artist with their painting only by looking at their palette and the colours they've mixed.

Here the description of this forum in case you didn't notice:
"Writing songs and making money? Trying to write songs and getting stuck with the lyrics or the music? Share your problems and solutions...for a song."

You first two sentences suggest that you think the lyric is not a part of the songwriting process. I think it might be useful to break out the songwriting topic into seperate forums discussing lyrics, melody, demo production, etc. But until that happens, it all gets lumped in here.

The forum description seems to dissagree with what you think the forum is for. Maybe you need to look to the mp3 clinic for what you want to see.

Hmm..Wookey's post was a bit harsh, but he has a point. Lyrics without music are considerably less than half the story; this is not a poetry forum and anyway lyrics are not poetry.

I don't think that the MP3 clinic is the total answer - people should be able to post songs here knowing that production isn't up to scratch but get comments just on the songwriting.

(Toker I tried to listen but nowhere is having one of its periodic battles with Media Player. Sorry Will try again over the weekend when I can be bothered to clear the temporary files that cause the problem.)
