I am at the mixdown stage of my track, trying to get the levels to work out right. I heard in VST32 there is a way to "step" mixdown, that is, mark at certain points where the volume or effects cue in and out. The only way I know how to pull in the effects right now is by doing the WRITE function and to control the mix while the track is playing in real time. I hope this makes sense, I know this might sound a bit confusing.
Also, what's the best way to control an effect or reverb for a track so that it is in sync with the tempo? I heard the algorithm is supposed to be 600/tempo; is that correct? What is the best way to go about doing echos in Cubase, I am having some trouble trying to get more control over this?
