Squier Tele custom

Anyone tried the Tele custom with the humbucker.
I tried it in a shop last week and really liked its playability and feel.
It's supposed to be a keef type thing.
Interested in some opinions please.
 
I've been wanting one myself, because I like Teles and I wanted one with humbuckers, though not necesarily the stock pickups.

FWIW, I've found that the Vintage Vibe Squires are much better quality and more playable than the Standards or Vintage Modifieds. Not sure which Custom you're referring to. For the Keef thing, you're also going to need the right amp and, oh yeah, Keef's fingers. :D
 
I'd say, if you like it, go for it! I've got a bunch of Squires, and I've only really regretted buying 2 of them. That's a much higher success rate than I've had with Epiphones.
 
A rhythm player I worked with had that brown Tele (80's) with the HH setup, and I thought it was great. Full and rich.
