Hey. I decided I wanted to try out SPDIF but my Adobe Audition program is not getting a signal from it or neither is my Firewire.
From my Vox Tonelab to a converter (for switching optical to coaxial - its powered) I have a optical cable. And from the converter to my Firewire Solo I have a coaxial cable.
If I look at the optical cable end coming from the Tonelab..there is a little red light that shines from it. Im guessing that means signal is going through. I did use a electric current checker to see if something was coming to the end of the coaxial that goes into the Firewire and it shows current.
I am stumped. Any ideas?
Also...I just plugged in my dvr digital audio out into the Firewire....and no signal.
