Spectrum Analyzer?????????

Anyone know where i can get a outboard (rackmounted) spectrum analyzer to view my db's?

not a software but a rackmounted one with levels of db's?

Couple of problems with your request ...........
I've as yet to find an SA you can rackmount under 8000 bucks
The vast majority of SA's are benchtop, and VERY expensive.
I found one cheap(ish) one which I bought and have had for years, AudioControl Industrial's SA3051. Most likely the best-for-the-purpose and buck

I didn't say I like it and I would not buy/use it but it has a SA and it can be rackmounted and it is cheap.


What you really need is a

DK-Audio MSD-200

This is very good tool with SA and goniometer and everything else you might want. Unfortunately it's very expensive and it can't be rackmounted either.

There's a rackmount graphic equalizer with a spectrum analyzer from TC Electronics - the TC 1128. I think the list price is around $2700.

Just one suggestion, I have hard as well as software analyses tools, and the one that is by for the best for audio is Metric Halo's Spectrafoo.

If you record analogue, thats not the one for you, but if you are DAW - you cannot beat it.
