how can you tell positive from negitive if the terminals aren't labeled as such? i have a set of unlabeled terminals on both speakers and want to hook them up properly?

Get a 1.5 battery, hook it up to the 2 terminals of the speaker and if the speaker moves out then you know which is positive and which is negative. If the speaker moves in then you have the postive terminal connected to the negative.

Hope that helps.

Good answer, didnt think of that! :D

You can probably safely assume that the left connector on both are the same polarity. If you have plus going to minus on both speakers or plus going to plus, it'll be fine.

Very true, I guess you would prolly get some phase problems if they were different on each speaker.
