since the OP stated rock/metal, here's a much heavier clip showing two Scumbacks.

First a M75 followed by a H75.

M75 - H75

there's no way faster to change to tone than with speakers.

Never say "I Do!" with speakers until you've played thru a pair of EV's..... you can find them used for the same price as new V30's, just be careful to ensure they are not recones.

EVM12L is what the V30 wants to be, but never will be......

There....I've said it...... I dont like V30's. But if you must have the Celestion name poking out of your cabs, then V30's and GB's are really the only ones worth having.

I would also look at the jensen MOD series. I switched from celestion G12T-75 's in my marshall 1960 cab to jenson MOd12 50's. I am thrilled with the result and the jensens are half the price of the speakers I replaced.

I am not knocking the V30 what so ever. If you have the cash. Why not. Just thought I would mention the jenson alternative.
