A fun listen, Dogman. It doesn't sound like the kind of music that should have good vocals. Keep it dirty. I get the feeling that this would be a pretty cool live show, and that I would wake up the next morning with a whiskey bottle embedded in my head.

Thanks for the listen, and the encouragement. Did you listen to the last mix, or one of the others.

Ok, tried to do what was suggested, to the best of my abilities. May have screwed it up worse, or maybe not. You tell me. Tried to make the kick a bit better, and subdue the guitars somewhat. Re-tracked the vocals, but since I still suck, so do they.

Thanks again.

I want to be fair, so I will get this last one at home...

Wow, the left guitar kinda just "popped" in. Scared the shit out of me. Other than that, very nice mix. I have no complaints. The vocals fit the music just fine. Who wants to hear Celine Dione sing this anyhow? :D

Damn, I just got to the acoustic part. Very nice tone on that guitar!

OK, that left guitar did it again. I think it might be your editing. I'd look at that. Unless that was the effect you were going for.

If you can't tell, I'm typing as I listen, that's why my remarks are so spread out...

Thanks Rokket. Maybe it won't be quite as scary.

Ed, just the topic of the song alone is scary! :D

Overall, not a bad mixing job at all. You are coming along nicely with your work!

Thanks Rokket. The left guitar is supposed to come in after the right, but in listening again, it does come in pretty harshly. Any ideas as to a better transition?

Thanks again.

There is so much energy in you kickdrum that it compresses the whole mix (sounds like you have big compressor on the whole mix)... can't you get some energy out of the kick? Put on a high pass at around 80Hz or so... experiment with it.

With the nice acoesticpart in the middle it should sound really open and clean but it's al muddy. I'm not sure if it's the bassguitar that isn't just punchy/tight enough or it's low freq's in the quitar.

I like the vocals!

Thanks again jkvd. I'll try some of this, but I am definitly a newbie when it comes to mixing, so have lots of trouble, and lose interest after I mess it up so much. I did put a compressor on the whole mix, so probably need to redo that. I'll give it a shot later.

Thanks again dude.

I listend to all 3 versions, and the 3rd is the best. Still needs work though.

Good luck.

Thanks for the listen Robert. I'll continue working on it.

You get artistic points for the poetic use of the 100 more days thing.

The jam is a bit loose but has some great moments.

The vocals didn't strike me as appropriate as the guitars or the lyrics.

Thanks for the listen drstawl. As you can tell, there is real deep meaning here. :D
And that I can't sing.

Thanks.

I dug the guitar work at the end!

Wish I could say that was me, but I had help there. Glad you found some entertainment out of it.
Thanks.

I have crappy PC speakers (gotta do something about that) but what I can hear.....Maybe it's my off the wall taste....I love it!!! I really enjoyed the vocals..I think what Caused me to listen several times is your timing on changing the flavor of the song, and the R/L sound duel of the geetars(wish those had been longer) with a zip of keyboards was excellent!!! :D
