Soundtracs Topaz Project 8

Is there anyone in the Central Jersey area (or close by) with a Soundtracs Topaz console I could check out. I'm considering buying one but I'd like to hear one first. There seems to be plenty around for sale but none close by so I can't demo the boards sound, etc before buying. I'd appreciate if there's someone out there who can show me their board. i have one

i have one! its nice as far as i can tell i haven used it much but i dont do much recording right now, i have a small 16 channel soundcraft that i use. i boughtt it for a large project i was working on that required more channels i paid $1000.00 for it about a year ago, the monitor amp is bad and 3 aux sends are bad and a couple channels as well it needs a good cleening and alittle love but it has a great eq very responsive and dynamically musical. i love the EQ, hope that helps some

depending on your budget i would go with a alen & heath then soundcraft then soundtracs,
