Soundcraft EPM8 or Mackie 1402 VLZ3 or Yamaha MG166C

I need opinions - I've got a blown Alesis Studio 24 mixer that I want to replace. These both have the features I like and but I need to know the sound quality.

If you have either model, please post your reviews so I can get an idea which one to order.

Well I just got my Yamaha MG166c but haven't plugged it in yet, so I can't tell you too much. On inspection as on paper, it appears to a fine beast. Kinda plasticky, but that's what you get on the cheap. Nice lit buttons on the channels. 3 aux outs -one pre and one selectable. I really needed the 3 output busses and I'm looking forward to trying out the compressors. I'll be feeding an Art Tubefire interface. (8 channel) I do wish it had individual phantom selection on channels, but I'd have to be dreaming at that price point. ...And direct outs... which takes me to a topic I'm about to post: Is there a way to use inserts as direct outs without effecting your mix signal ?

I decided on a completely different mixer - Alesis Multimix 16 USB 2.0
Many features I liked and preamps should be same as what I have on old unit.
Plus multi-channel USB output so I can record AND transfer my old ADAT tapes to Sonar. Then I might sell the ADAT.....
