I think its soon time for me to retire my S5000 Sampler so.....

any recomendations on external (usb/firewire) sound cards with 8 or more ouputs that work well with ACID & Sonar?

I wouldn't retire it.. the S5000 is a great sampler..

the Delta 1010LT or wait that's not USB/FW sorry...

MOTU baby.... any of the 24-series or Presonus FP(Firepod) or FS (firestation)
