Ok,
I going to get a Soundcraft M4 and a Delta 44.
I think I've established that the best way to connect a mixer up to a soundcard is via the channel strip outputs. That is, for every mic I connect to the mixer, I take a cable and connect the output line on this strip to one of the input lines on the soundcard, and likewise for each mic. Now, how do I connect the outputs on the soundcard up to the mixer for playback. The mixer in question has monitor outs, so I'm gonna connect my monitors to these, and connect my headphones to my headphones out. Also is it possible to listen to prerecorded tracks through headphones, with or without hearing what I'm recording.
Thanks for the help.
