I use the audigy 2 zs platnium........ unfortunately I have never had the need to send a signal out of my computer and into something else, everything I do is with HomeStudio software, but I'll try to help. I guess for starters what size jacks and plugs will you being running into on your mixer?
You can also reference the help topics in Creative, look under PLAYING/ RECORDING MUSIC. There you should find a chart for a variety of different configuration.
I hope for the time being this will get you started, in the mean time I'll try to research it more
Good Luck :D

Kent,
Like I said before I'm not sure of the best method but why couldn't you run from your 1/4" stereo headphone jack into the mixer using a stereo 1/4 to stereo RCA cable. you can control the output level into the mixer that way as well.... just a thought for now. I know you can use the 1/8 out on the back clip.

I also Use The audigy 2 i go into my computer with the aux 2 input which is the rca's (left- right) i go from my tape out on my mixing board and come out of the card from the headphone jack back to the board with cable 2- rca's with an 1/4 adapter into 2- rca's to the tape in if your mixing board is equipped with tape I/O
