Hey I have me a nice little small studio setup in my bedroom , and I use my closet as a booth and it has no sound proofing so I cant play the audio out of my speakers while the person is recording hence it will bleed into the mic. So my question is how would I go by soundproofing the door. So no sound will get into the closet.

yes I use head phones but I would also like to hear it out of the speakers how would I go by adding mass to the door, what type of material to buy?

mass-ey materiel

sheetrock or a vinyl barrier

auralex makes sheetBLOCK and www.foambymail.com has some stuff equivalent. volara i think

you probably want to put up some weather stripping or neoprene in the cracks.

is it a sliding door or a swing open?
