Does anyone know where your levels should be on the level ruler when you are making a wave file?
Having difficulty converting to working with the computer after years of analog recordings and knowing where the levels should with tape but I have NO idea where levels should be when recording digital and the help menu doesn't give you any levels settings that you should try.
Thanks,
Russ

If you can get your recording up to the -2.5 dB mark you're doing OK. If you can squeeze out a recording up to the next notch- (out of 8 in the XP Window) even better. Just don't clip at all. You can always normalize later.
