Hi all,

I'm in the process of planning a studio for my a cappella group. What would you recommend in terms of sound control. Should it be strictly absorbption, or should there be a bit of diffusion (deflection?) as well. If some diffusion (is that the right word?), then where should those panels be placed? Again, this is a studio which only my a cappella group will be using.

Thanks.

Bread, it would help to know the room dimensions (all three, or more if the room's walls are NOT parallel) and type of construction - these can both affect the sound of a room bigtime.

Also, since you didn't mention it am I correct in assuming you don't care about isolation? Steve
