I have a Creative labs Audigy 2 Platinum and here are the specs. We planned on recording at home instead of paying for the studio, this way we can have an asset when its all said and done for our company. Heres the specs for the Audigy. I paid around 250$ canadian for it about a year ago. For the kind of performance Im looking for is this adequate? Where is this one lacking? Thanks

It is a consumer-level gaming card, regardless of what Creative's PR would try to convince you... If you search the forums here for "soundblaster," "creative," "Audigy," or something similar, you'll find all the info you'll need to see what I mean.

I should know, I *used* to own one!
