Sound card is not supported?

I used CW 9.3 for awile after I installed my Sonar XL 1.1 the Sonar says it does not support my Audio card.


I use AMD 900 and build in sound card.

Please tell me if you know how to fix this.

Your card most likely does not make use of WDM drivers. Either get a new sound card or run Sonar in MME mode rather than WDM.

I am sorry I'm new to this, can you tell me how?
 
Options>Audio>Advanced. Check box that says "Use MME even when WDM drivers are available".

Should work AFTER you go to Genral and click on "Run Wave Profiler". Then restart Cakewalk and you should be in business:)

Note: always run wave profiler after making any change to the audio settings;)
