Sony Sound forge Pro 10 recording problem, wont play back from two speakers

So I installed Forge Pro 10 and I wanna record my drums. I tried to mess around with settings and when I press record, then it only records on the one line (1) and when I press play, then it playbacks from one speaker... how to fix this? With Audicity it doesn't do like that..

Have you told it the recording is stereo? There are options for mono, stereo 16 bit, 24 bit etc etc. The play back problem is something to do with the playback options, you need to check the record and playback settings.
