Bass-man.... I don't think rockem actually reads the answers people are posting -- maybe he just collects 'em in a jar or something........

If he really read them, he'd learn a few things!!! ;)

Maybe he's just a bot created to allow people to up the post counts! :p

Blue Bear Sound,

pretty sure your right, but I dont care if he read or not! It's still a nice day for me :D

I'm sure am reading every single post

I'm dead serious here but I'm very disappointed ...

Don't you guys make music ?
Don't you want to share ?

I ask for recordings and I got only one !! (thanx Kryogh)

I know that on the vsplanet when someone wants to hear some
stuff done on the VS we give him plenty to listen

If over here its too much you could say it from the start
and I'll shut

ps - on steinberg artist's section, you got ppl that uses nuendo,
or using cubase for the road to get Ideas, (like you do on
4-track) and there's two artist that are now in the process of
an album, so you can't really here them
nuendo is not cubase !! its cost over 1000$ and for a good
reasons

I just want to here some tunes done on cubase, not looking
for "grammy" albums
I'm home recorder so I want to see cubase in home
when you're in studio you use outborads most of the time
so you can't really see cubase as the production tool
just wanted to hear some home made albums

The 2 songs on my site were recorded in Cubase then matered in soundforge...not saying they r the best in the worldbut you r welcome to listen if this is what you r looking for.

Allright rockem, here are two bass oriented instrumentals. I am playing everything and the drums were constructed by me in the drum editor using my digital piano. Everything was recorded in Cubase and I used Soundforge to master them.

Songs for Rockem

If you still want to hear more songs done in cubase go to my website in the jukebox and audio archive, all my songs are recorded in the cubase.
www.scottmellish.com is the website

Just one thing to say, you could have cubase or pro tools or cakewalk or any audio application... But there are so many variable's in the chain before the application comes into play...
The source, pre's, mixer, AD converters audio interface etc.
Then there of course is the way you mix it, the effects you apply...

The software acts as the host to control your music, mix etc.
You control the sound, the reason software like Cubase, Cakewalk, Protools etc are so good is because they allow for great control over your music, they give you freedom, they're user friendly, they dont make your music sound good or bad...you do
All IMHO of course...
