Love your stuff Subvibe

. Is that your vocal through a little AI? I ask because listening to Wanna Do as well, it has a vocalist that sounds different, also a little AI-ee. I know it has amazing capabilities now.
I second Cesic that this is really strong (no shock here). All my feels: The image looks like a 70s sleeve but also looks AI-generated. These days there's a kind of "proof of life" required for me to really get into a vocal performance, I need a real-looking photo or vid of a singer before I believe in them. Some kind of photo of your singer (if she's real) I think might help your marketing. I realize that has nothing to do with the song itself, but these thoughts impact my experience of the song.
I'm listening to H.E.R. back and forth between Taking Me Over (should be Taking Over Me? Or Out of Body?) and I know HER is real, so I can groove on her ridic vocals. I can't groove on yours, though they sound great, because I don't want to feel "tricked" later if it's AI. I notice that HER's Focus and Every Kind of Way have percussion higher in the mix. Now listening to Holy by King Princess. I think your song is floating around between these.
Having trouble understanding the lyrics right after first "Taking over me." "(something) ... yours to keep?" "You're who I used to be?"
When these comps hit their choruses, the listener hears a subtle or not-so-subtle change, which gives the songs a little more dynamics. I hear a similar opportunity at around 1:40 in Taking Me Over, I think that's the start of verse 2? Right now a couple additional instruments come in and there's a smooth build in energy. But I think the piano fights against the vocals, which sound slightly less substantial there. I think 10 seconds of building up to that new level might be better. Or just sidechain/eq a little more space for the vocals. Or add an extra octave down or distorted send to the vocals to give them a little more punch. I really like the space at 2:01.
I hope some of this is helpful useful. As always you're making something superdope.
