Song: "Get it Up" Any Mix/EQ Suggestions?

What's up people?!

I believe this is my 3rd version of this tune to put up here, but this is by far the most fleshed out version of this song. I took everyone's advise into consideration. I also programmed drums and changed up the bass line to go better with the drums/rhythm.

My biggest problem always comes from not having a good listening environment to tweak EQ. So if you have any advice let me know.

I was also considering doing a fade out at the end...or perhaps something weird

 
Hey Robert, good to hear a new song from you. Is Bag of Toys going to have a new album coming out soon? The mix sounds pretty balanced to me. The main thing that sticks out to me is the drums, which I know you will be replacing eventually, but I think that's the main thing thats holding this song back right now. I think the song could possibly use a solo to give it just a little more umph at the finish. The guitar and bass tones work well for the style of music. I like the song a lot.
 
+1 for the drums...everything else sounds great though.
 
PATLANG12: Thanks! we've certainly got enough stuff now for another CD however i might be moving to the east coast in a matter of months, so we're still trying to figure out exactly how we're going to handle that as a band. oh...and yeah...i was planning on having a little solo in that "rock hole" (as we call it). I'll see if i can tweak those drums as it appears that's the biggest complaint as of now.
