Not my cup of tea, but the vocals sounded good imo. I didnt know what to expect when it started off with the chorus, but it took a good direction to my ears when the funk kicked in. =) I also thought the backup singing was well done; it sounded just right.

the music/instrumentation is good and catchy!!! the singer sounds like . . . prince . . . a little . . . the hook sounds like . . that "too sexy for my body" dude . . ..

cool song!!! catchy and different!

i like this!!! lol :>

listening as I type:

1. music is tight! panned guitars are very nice.
2. haha...trying for the Prince falsetto...nice job. "I wanna be your Lover" feel
3. good harmonies!
4. the intro confused the crap out of me...timing wise. I almost fell off my chair.
5. kick is perfect...
6. Mix wise, the song is very good. I can't hear anything that i'd change.
7. Production wise though the song is just a tad empty for me. I could hear just a light keyboard pad, or even a distorted guitar up the gut, if you wanna hang on to that prince feel...

that's sort of nit-picky though...nice song. catchy little tune as Gully said.

good job!

Hey Cholo

Not at all picky - I totally aggree. That's the thing that's been bugging me about the song - I feel like it's missing something. I thought it may have been that it kind of sits between a major and minor key, but I agree - it needs more instrumentation. I'll try mucking around with a pad and see what happens
