Sonar???

guess i'm just lucky that cakewalk's release of sonar is coinciding with my requirements for new software and my acquisition of a new pc (and other cool stuff)...
I had wondered what the heck i was going to get for quite some time...i for one am okay with it's timely arrival - fx are impressive!:D

fine. don't waste your money. but don't waste our time with your stupid remarks. you can keep 8 if you want. its a good program.
 
so you own pro audio 8, right? and i said it was a good program. and then you called me a liar. so you think its not a good program. then why do you use it?
 
I'm with you Aquanaut, if monty wants to keep using PA8 he can go right ahead. No one is giving him dumb ass comments about his choice to stick with the program so why the hell does he feel he needs to bother the rest of us who want to upgrade. Monty could use a Fisher Price tape recorder to record himself banging on pots and pans and you wouldn't see me giving a damn. So why does he care about what the rest of us enjoy using. Maybe he is under the false impression that the equipment we choose to use affects him in some way.
 
who cares....and regardless of my joy at this minute, having just dumped a shitpot full of cash, i'm painfully aware that in a short time i'll need to upgrade/acquire something else. it's foolish to believe that you can hang on to old technology, however pleased with it you are, and not move with "natural" currents of consumerism. = the old wears out, becomes obsolete= get new= becomes old again..... yadayada....
his feelings are understandably hurt, because he wants HIS stuff to be the best! it just doesn't work that way, fellah.
i've been using a tascam 424 for years!!!! but you won't see me kicking and screaming whilst being dragged by my purse into the "goodie store"....
i've come to grips..you should too.

we are trying to say that if you don't think buying Sonar is wise, then say it once. But don't pound it into the ground. we understand what you think, and the least you could do is understand what we think, and not rip on it. if you want to do that, start your own thread.

No, I don't have it yet. They say it is going to ship in March. I guess they mean the very end of March
 
It will start shipping March 29th. That's why the extra 50 bucks off for upgraders is good till the 28th. Mine is on order too man.... waiting....waiting....waiting....
 
thanks, ive been trying to figure out the actual release date FOREVER.
 
yep. waiting.... i'll get all of my other stuff and won't be able to play with it !! oh well...
