Sonar question

I posted this on the Sonar newsgroup and haven't gotten an answer yet so I thought I'd post it here. Here's my question...

Been working on a project for awhile and decide to start something new
and like I always do I create new working folder and setup the new
folder "globally" in Sonar. I work on this new tune for awhile to only
realize that Sonar thinks I'm still working in the previous folder. I go
to Global\Folders and my path is set right and it's set right under
Audio Data. But when I look at File\Project Audio Files the project
audio folder is the folder to my previous project. Why is Sonar retaining
old memory of a previous project? I've started new projects many times
and have not come across this. Have I screwed something up in Sonar?

I know where I screwed up. When I started my new project I didn't start a "New Project" and make sure that my audio path matched my global settings. OK Fine, I screwed up....How do I fix it? I have moved the audio files to a different location, it doesn't matter, Sonar wants to go to my previous working folder no matter what.

Any ideas appreciated!

I have been told that this is a fault with Windows - not Sonar.
It annoys me too, especially when I have to navigate all over my disks for an FX preset - Sonar always seems to default to the last folder you store anything in with it.

That's interesting. I just realized I have never even looked at that feature in Sonar. Since cake 8, I have always started new projects by first making my own new project and song folders for the audio data in explorer, and continue to do this in sonar.

Seems like every time I come around here, or pick up the manual, there's another feature to learn about or use.

Whenever I work on a new project, I always create a folder for that project, and a new file for each song I will be doing. That way I just open the song I want to work on right then, and save everything as I go. I am using Pro Audio 8 though, I don't know much about Sonar yet.
