Well here I go.... Im trying to use Hypersonic 1 with Sonar5Pe and when I pull up all of my vst's Hypersonic does not appear. I've tried placing it in the DXI and vst folder then run a search and it still doesnt appear... Can someone help me.. When I turn on Cubase it loads right up but it wont work with sonar.. Please help

Have you rerun the VST adapter program to register it?

VSTs are native to Cubase, but need to be registered with the adapter to be recognized in Sonar.

Hypersonic

If I remember corectly, then you must insert it thru the pull down menu on SONAR (Insert --> DXi effect). NOT by inserting it directly in the track's insert... I don't know who's to blame, but it goes that way... :)

I have 5PE too, and sometimes with some VST's you have to manually click "Enable as synth", or something to that effect, after the adapter has been run and detects it. As for the DXI, I'm not sure, I try to use only VST's for future transfer to a Muse Receptor.

Hypersonic is an instrument, not an effect. Insert using the Synth Rack View, not in the track inserts section. The VST Adapter is for plug-ins (effects).
