MAC2, thanks for "reaching back" to have a listen to my tunes.

Vocals? I sing out of necessity - people are too kind around here! I'll take "stiff" anyday! Until I find someone who can really sing, I'm gonna keep doing it - maybe I'll get better, maybe I won't.:)

I'm not sure what guitar part you are asking about. "Nobody Home" ends with the straight verse/chorus. The part before that is a three part guitar harmony with a random lead over the top. Are you perhaps referring to the fade ending of "Confused Blues" which is reverse guitars (one per side) along with a Fruity Loops synth "farting" noise?

After reading the above, I HAD to D/L and listen to that one...

First off, there's been entire songs shorter than that intro.... I thought it was an instrumental... 2:14!!! wow. Damn good thing I liked the contrast of the blues guitar over the synth and fruity drums. Great guitar work. Still gotta clean up those vocals. I'm always a sucker for backwards anything, so I liked that part too...

Overall, quite good.

Thanks Queue. "Confused Blues" was really the first thing I ever really recorded - certainly was the first I ever rendered to a mp3 and posted. Should have called it "Overindulgence Blues". I wonder how many people have attempted to listen and gave up prior to 2:14. What would I do differently with it? Shorten the "indulgent go nowhere purposeless" guitar lead at the front, find a singer (preferably someone with spousal guilt issues who could really sing), and rerecord ALL lead guitars (I cringe whenever I listen now - although it seemed acceptable at the time). The reverse guitars and farting sound would stay AS IS. :)

Oh yeah - I'd also need a drummer (i.e. human) with spousal guilt issues.:)

Try right clicking the little download arrow then choose "Save Target as" (or similar verbiage, based on what browser you're using).

Yeah.......that's what I meant...the reverse guitars and the synth fart thing....sorry, had the wrong song title.

Streaming not working? Okay, mandatory questions: What version of Windows Media Player do you have installed? What O/S, System, and connection do you have? Where abouts in the world are you, and lastly, what error messages, if any, do you get?

That's an easy one.

Compared to real drummers, they suck.

When you don't have access to a drummer/kit, they're great (certainly better than nothing).
 
Indeed, that is an easy one psmith66. Most people would use a real drummer and kit if they had access to them to record.

Consider my comment a frustration. I find it hard to really comment on recordings that use canned drums because the whole vibe and fidelity if totally different.
