Heheh...the RS-20B seems to be, um, stuck in the rack. Don't think I'll ever be able to get that out of there.:D

Oh, I don't know...$100 plus S&H? It is super clean and original.

Ya mean you don't want the pile o' 234???

I'd love to have a 234, but just don't have the time to dedicate to putting one together from scratch.:p

I'll shoot you a PM.

Nice machine ;) Asking price is a tiny little on the high side though, hehe...

Sometimes I'd just like to write the seller that it won't happen but then I figure, why bother? What I have seen happening, or what I think I have seen happening, is, people look at ebay to see what things are worth that they want to sell. They look for what it goes but they also look for what other sellers ask and then think: If he/she asks that, then I'm not alone asking so much, so it's a reasonable price. I watch auctions of things I'm interested in a lot and prices tend to increase because buyers also watch those auctions and figure: if I just bet 20 bucks more than last time I might get it.

And then there are those buyers who seem to not only need to win the auction but need to stay the top bidder all the time and whenever someone raises they counter raise to "show them". That really... ah well, don't get me started on that topic.

Cheers
Tim

I see it too a lot.

I never could understand why people bid on something before the last day anyway, unless they are going on vacation or something. I've watched a few things with intentions on bidding on them and then am amazed that the price shoots up in the first day or two. At that point, I lose interest because I know it's going to end up a higher bid than I am willing to put in. Sometimes I wonder if it's a friend of the seller that goes through and bumps the price up all the time.

Some people don't understand that what they see something listed for on eBay isn't what it will actually go for, yet they list their item on CL for that amount, hoping they will receive the equivalent. Sad, really.

Not necessarily. I usually wait to the end to bid too, but sometimes when you already know what you're willing to pay for it, you just bid your highest and if you win, good. If you don't you keep your money.

Great point. I guess that makes it easy.

Oh no Cory. There is no way I would buy something that size from overseas.;) I was saying that if it was local, I might entertain the thought.:p

Let me rephrase that.:p

If I was looking for an ATR-60 and it was local, I might entertain the thought of making an offer.;)

Heheh...I figured I was missing something but I couldn't help poking...:laughings:

Yeah...that IS a nice looking ATR60-16...

I am actually very interested in that Model 70, if it was in Melbourne I would definitely go inspect it but since I don't live in Sydney I miss out i guess.
