Dude that's pretty awesome. Yall are a good band. :D

Thanks Greg...we usually play the immigrant song at like chipmonk speed :p...I think it grooves better a little slower...just gotta hide the Red Bull from the drummer :D

Damn, you guys are tight... Nice stuff for how it was recorded..

Playing wise, there are some timing problems throughout. As far as the recording, it sounds like it was recorded live with using a Mini Disc walkman/single stereo mic ;) I do think the band is definitely better than the recording.

As times goes by I enjoy Physical Graffitti & Presence more & more. This is one of the outstanding tracks of their latter days.
Nice jobbie!

the voice in the beginning is horrid -- but who can really get that robert plant sound down?!?!

you really wimped out with the high stuff - but again, who could sing that?

i think you should probably stick to songs you can pull off -- you have the soul, for sure. And yeah the band is pretty decent!

ugghh the last vocals are just cringeworthy... sorry but thats just imo

:D

ido1957 Cool stuff....

Thanks buddy, appreciate it!

Rokket Damn, you guys are tight... Nice stuff for how it was recorded..

Thanks , we tend to play stuff fast and kinda lose our dynamics...so have been trying to work on that...

Yeah, it's not that great of a recording...especially compared to the awesome stuff people put up here, but it's kinda fun to just capture the moment with little effort/tweaking.... "Nobodys Fault But Mine" has been a real challange for us as far as the stops and starts..the bass player is also the lead singer, so he struggles at times doing both...We usually play "ImmigrantSong" really fast, so have been making a effort to slow it down a little...thanks for your comments, appreciate the feedback!

Hi Ray,I'm with you...I kinda burned out on the 1st 5 Zeppelin albums...especially Zeppelin V(Houses Of The Holy)..I have actually been listening to "In Thru The Out Door" quite a bit lately...which I hated when it came out , but seems somehow kinda fresh to me now...

Yeah Jason, vocals are definetly not great, we try and play songs that are a little beyond our limited ability so we can maybe get better, if we were playing somewhere serious/getting paid, we would definetly be playing Brown Eyed Girl,Old Time Rock And Roll, Taking Car Of Buisness etc.....but right now , it's a lot funner to try challanging tunes like this... and by the 2nd keg at a party..these songs seem to go over pretty cool :D
Thanks for listening and the feedback...appreciate it!

I'm always up for some Zep. Hey, it a band, it's live. That's how live bands sound. Really cool for just a minidisk recording.

thats quite admirable :D

thanks for takin it well!!!

Not going to lie, I didn't like it.

Singing wasn't very good, recording quality sounds like one room mic... Playing was kind of tight/together...

Yeah, it was one room mic :o...will work on tightening it up musically...can't do much about the singer...singing.....just curios, did you not like either or just one...I dig the music/covers you post here so I appreciate your feedback, thanks for listening!

It's cool...it may sound corny, but I think one of the coolest things about the net is being able to "meet" musicians who can offer constructive criticisim....stopped worrying about what people thought about my playing a long time ago. Just try to keep learning....It's all good :D

Well then nevermind what I have to say about the mix... there's only so much you can do about that with one mic.

It's just that when you do covers, you have to either morph them into your own version/creation, or if you're going to try note for note like you do, you've gotta get it really close and tight, and things get a little sloppy sometimes.

Something you should know: I eat sleep and breathe Zeppelin, so don't take what I say too heavily, it's hard for me to remain objective.

The music sounds good-sure there are some issues-but it was live and sounds like a good time was had by all. The singer's voice sounds like he is pretty tired and his voice needed a rest-like it was towards the end of the night.

Hey ziplock, man, I totally agree with what your saying about covers...when I do them on my own...I really try and put my own spin on them...(check out my cover of Kansas's "Dust In The Wind" :p)...thats what I like about your cover of "Come Together" you posted ....I think maybe my current band is growing a bit stagnant and lazy...the other 2 guys seem like they just wanna play in the basement 1 day week and maybe its just getting boring....I really love Zeppelin to, and actually , never thought of trying to cover songs like "Nobody's Fault" or The Wanton Song" before...so it was pretty exciting to try em'....gonna see if I can give myself, and the other 2 guys a little push to tighten em up a bit...but still keep it fun! Thanks again for your thoughts ...appreciate it!

Hey Anfontan, thanks for listening....Immigrant song was pretty early on in our practice....while nobodys fault is the last song about 3 hours later, so yeah, he gets tired....we do have a lot of fun, and thats the main thing for us...although, like I said before, I am starting to get a bit antsy....

I like it. You guys play good live. Better than alot of main-stream bands. I seem quite a few bands that sound good on cd but suck live.
