Hey. I realise I am looking for people to talk about my songs and not my ability as a recorder, but I guess this is the wrong place for that.

Anyway I have received so much help from you guys I just thought I'd share some of my work with you all...

Do you just want comments or also constructive feedback on the song/mix? Cause one could be pretty nice while the other could be horrible ;)
 
Well I think what I am after is comments on the song. But I wouldn't mind some tips on my mixing etc. But please be gentle, I am really pleased with this stuff, and a load of people on the net love it! So please don't bring me down, lol. Thanks!
 
Ok. Ofcourse I can only tell you what I think, be it good or bad :)
But take my opinion for no more that one man's opinion ofcourse.

I like alot of your stuff! I do, but they do tend to be a bit of the same everytime. The big chorussed guitars, the same drum-machine, the spacy pad sounds. Cool stuff, but many try to make something with vocals, and a different groove?
 
Thanks. Yeah I know what you're saying, about the drum machine etc... but I'm still a newbie at all this and can't afford to pay for loads of expensive stuff. I realise a load of my stuff is similar, lol. But I think I have a very unique sound (be it good or bad).

I realise that you guys will listen to my stuff with a different ear than the genereal public - as you know how to do all this stuff yourselves, but I still apreciate your thoughts!
 
Hey, I think your stuff is really cool - it's quite different from anything resembling convention. I just think your guitar sounds and drum sounds let it down, you say you are a newbie so this is the place to take advice. Do you use an amp for your guitar or plug straight in to whatever you record on, or do you use multi fx pedals?

Anyway like I said, nice and unusual.
