I want to change my software for recording audio thought id ask u lot what u use and what you recomend is the best jimmy

I like Adobe Audition for tracking and basic editing. Sound Forge for more precice / microscopic editing. And Vegas, by far, for mixing. Vegas rules.

I'm currently rocked by Samplitude Pro. I'm a "regular" Nuendo guy, but that is quickly swinging to Samplitude the more I use it.

I have a feeling it will make its way onto my "A" system very soon...

i tried every software on the planet. as a result i bought and love
powertracks from pgmusic.com for 29 bucks. as well as magix music studio.
80 bucks from magix.de. others ive tried the demoes of which i like are ntrack, traktion, multitrackstudio.com(very underrated imho - i would have bought it if i had not previously purchased the other two , as its rock solid),
powertracks though has so many features just try the demo. too many features to list here eg...48 tracks, built in effects thus saving buying plug ins
(about fifty built in !), midi sequencing,drum machine,song styles,notation.
just to name a few. plus recordable mixer moves etc. just try it the pgmusic forum users for feedback if you think i'm lying.
