Flailing up a storm.
I have N-Tracks for now, so looking at the bundled plug ins, or external VST or direct x add ons.

I've read a tin, but I'm not 100% on a few things still:

1. I assume commercial plug ins are higher quality than the free ones available here and there, but can anyone give me an idea of what are considered high quality and worth the investment? Mainly looking for EQ, compression, etc for the mix, rather than for tracking purposes.

2. Are any free ones comparable to reatail?

3. Is there a difference betweent he VST and direct-x options?

Thanks,
Daav

Thanks, i have those and others bookmarked at home. I am mainly slooking for someone with a little experience to help narrow down the field.

So I guess free could be ok then, eh? Good to know, i will start playing around with some of those.

Download the Waves demo. They are completely unrestricted for 14 days. I did some years ago and I loved them so much, I had to buy them! I bought the orignal Rennaisance Collection and the Native Power Pack. Much better than many of the free packages. Oh, I use N-track too. Great program!

Thanks all, i will check out all options soon as i can.
