So Many Words - Work Mix

Sounds odd with the snare leaning so heavily to one side and the vocal on the other side.
There are some timing issues - don't know if it's the drummer managing the changes or the guitar.
Sounds pretty thin & a little fizzy.
Reminds me of The Takeaways from Australia in the mid 80's.
You'd be better off posting a mono at this stage - I could get my head around the song
then.
You could have something good going but it's hard to tell.

Interesting. The vocals are split delayed left and right, so they should ultimately feel centered. I've never centered my snare mic, I always put the snare track where the snare is on the overheads, keeps the center less cluttered.

Yeah, there's timing issues that have crept up, a few of my bass parts are off, the synth feels slightly ahead at times. Most of those are pretty easy fixes.

Thanks for the perspective. I may post a mono mix.

As is often the case when a delay is put on a panned part & sent opposite it is the 1st heard (usually the original) that is perceived as louder & 1st by some distance.
Snare I usually place in the natural position too - off centre but not as off as your stereo image puts it.
I did note the delayed other side but as described it came 2nd and was quieter.

i like it
and i like the slightly obscure sound/mix :eatpopcorn: way more interesting to listen to than perfectly polished "normal" stuff imo
don't know about the synth sound. maybe an cheap transistor organ or something like that would sound cool? or a casio. ;)
but yeah, the vocals would sound better centered
perfect timing is for robots.
reminds me a bit of some early 80s new wave stuff
