hehe...Those are some lofty choices there.

I can do the drums to just about any Deep Purple tune since Ian Paice has always been my favorite drummer. We're both left-handed, too, and set our drums up "backwards". (Just like me and Jimi on guitar, but I can't play like him). But I can't think of a Deep Purple tune that I'd cover because I can't play guit like Blackmore and I can't come close to singing like Gillan or Coverdale (I wish).
The first 5 albums I bought were Alice Cooper albums, so I would love to cover any Alice tune.
I have an MP3 of a 12 minute drum solo I did in a club a few years ago. I get off the drums during the solo and you can still hear me playing on people's beer bottles in the audience for a while before I get back on the drums. I wouldn't post it though, it's a little too self-indulgent, but a great souvenir.
 
A 12 Minute drum solo? Might be a little long for some but you never know.... I'd definitely like to hear it - I'm sure it rocks. Ok so in lieu of that maybe a song with a drum solo in it, or some more Alice....
 
You can always do a Heart cover. Eh? Barracuda (sp?). Or Bebe Le Strange. But drums don't really play big role in those songs as is. You could make them better.
 
Whaoah! Drums are a huge part of Baracuda. Great tune. Too bad it's almost a direct rip off of "Achilles Last Stand"...Still a good tune though.

Well then first I need to go back and listen to Baracuda again, and not focus on the guitar only. I'm always trying to figure out how the guitar is played. I don't have it down yet. Well I don't have anything figured out after the intro which is pretty easy. Even if this song was a ripoff, Heart had other good songs. I mean that chick can scream like no one that I can think of.

Never heard of Achilles Last Stand. Might be worth a listen sometime. :)

I guess I think of drums having a huge part when I remember some really cool drum part like in Kashmir by Zepp or whoever did Kashmir.

There was another cool song, by Rainbow, called Stargazer where I remember the guitar and the drums. :D.

Sometimes, I'm in my own little world. LOL. :)

Edit: Upon listening now, Bebe Le Strange has pretty good drums, too!
 
Yeah Heart's a good band..."Achilles Last Stand" is from my favorite, yet probably least known Led Zeppelin album.

"Semi Charmed Life" is probably on my top 10 all-time favorite songs...The phrasing of the vocals in the verses in incredible.
 
Ok, I'd PAY to hear Rami do Volare.....I actually think he could turn this into one hell of a kick-ass tune....Anyone see Hollywood Knights???

RAMI, we need to meet up sometime. We both dig alice cooper, the phrasing in 3eb songs, & giving 16 yr olds a hard time.
