is this the stuff we were talking about today?
Nice playing mang!:)

If that IS for what we were talking about .... I'd ditch all the 'verb.
On my seq's I don't use any 'verb at all ..... on the theory of less production is what I want for live use.
In general on a live gig you wouldn't have 'verb on the bass or drums, mainly getting it from the room, and so you wouldn't want it on the background tracks.

As a mixed tune though (NOT for the solo gig) it's appropriate although I still find it a little excessive.
Fun stuff ...... I wish I wasn't so lazy ...... I'd stick some sax on it ..... but, I am indeed lazy!
:D

This stared out as one of those tunes...but I went ahead and threw some effects on the guitar to fill up some space. I didn't want to add any more guitar, and I'm not a keyboard player . Added some compression and EQ on the bass, and tried my hand at mixing & mastering.

It was an attempt. Meh... :: shrugs shoulders ::

Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate that. :D

well ...... it sounds fine.
I rarely get my mixes exactly like I want them the first time.
Also, I should mention, I only have the right side of my 'puter speakers working ..... that could alter how I'm hearing the 'verb.

The guitar has way more reverb than I care for. I used a stock preset in Amplitube 2 and added some mids. I did use my Les Paul for this track. It was very clean and easy to use.

Geez dude don't be so disparaging on yourself.
Wish I could move my arthritic fingers that fast.

Sounds fine, but you could take the reverb down on the guitar so it pops out more.

Otherwise, take it easy on yourself. I've heard a far far worse from my own speakers.....

Thanks, y'all.
Gonna be working on more soon enough. Getting ready for the annual freak-a-thon in Atlanta next weekend. I hope to get back to recording daily after Labor Day.

Can't wait for Dragon*Con! :D
