I am in love with SD condensers.

I am equally in love with Bass rolloff switches.

The AKG C451B has me drooling. A SD Condenser with a Bass rolloff starting at 150 hz. Wow.

Anyone know of any others out there?

Chessrock,

Did the Lions poor season last year drive you to these pangs of lust for small diaphragm mics, or is it something else? :D

Hey, I'm with you on the low cut feature, especially for acoustic guitar.

They say Harrington is lookin' sharp in minicamp, but what does he know about mics?

Maybe they can line him up at CB.

I'm still wondering if they'll ever get someone who can stay healthy at that position or if they are just cursed.

You can probably tell I'm one of the Quenton Jammer supporters. Harrington might be a fine QB, but I look at how thin they are at CB, and I don't really understand that pick.

But back to the bass rolloff issue, I think the writing is on the wall: I just need to get another damn v93. And root for the Bears, and I'll be happier. :)

I don't think you can go too wrong with either choice! I want another V93 myself.

Hey are you a Detroit native? I'm in Sylvan Lake myself.

From good ole' Bay City, Michigan (smack dab in the thumb pit).

Lived in Harrison Township for a while, while working in the Detroit area (Royal Oak).

Been living in Chicago now for about 5 years, so you'd think I would have wisened up by now, but unfortunately I'm still a glutton for punishment. :)

Do you live by the ski hills?

Well, I know I'm way off topic now, but Chicago is a great town. In fact, I'm going there in July. What are the hot spots for good music? I love das bluez. Kingston Mines? Buddy Guys? Others?

Those are the two.

There's another smaller blues club right across the street from Kingston Mines on Halsted you might like, as well. I believe it's just called "The Blues Club."

Thanks Chess! I know the other club you mention. I was there once. My brother in law lived on Halstead in an upstairs flat. We walked to the Mine and I heard Son Seals one night...fantastic! The other place was just across the street. OK. I'll try to get back on topic now...:D
