slow distorted sound in HomeStudio

I'm gettin this slow distorted sound everytime I play anything in Home Studios 2 anyone else come across this problem?

What's your latency?

Set it to maximum and see if that helps.

that helped a little but i don't think thats what was causing it, it still sounds distorted or fuzzy or something and when i play it in Acid its fine? any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks
