Cool man. The main time I found the instrument editor most useful was with a weak side-stick. Snare sounded great with a layer of Trigger, but the side-stick still sucked. I just recorded 10 samples of them with one of my snares and placed in Instrument Editor, and had a realistic sample that solved the issue. No need to try and bring the drummer back. Just a bit of geek out time in the studio. Something I likely do way to often...

I use it on almost all of my sessions... worth it, dive in! You have to have good samples as well, though it comes with some good ones.
