Skipping / Converting tracks to .wav

When inserting a delay or reverb on an FX bus, insert it in the second or third slot. This will give you added flexibility, in case you find you need to place an EQ, for example, before the effect to tailor the frequencies going into the effect.

He's using cubase 4? you can drag and drop the sends and inserts into any order. Atleast you can with C5 that I'm using and if I remember rightly you could with CS4 that I used before

I wasn't sure if his version allowed for it or not. I am still stuck in SX2 land :eek:
 
Thanks a lot for all the replies. It's good to know that it's typical to work on only a few tracks at a time while everything else is frozen. I don't have any problems when only two tracks are unfrozen.

Well this saves me the hassle of upgrading my software...haha, I'm going to try to learn how to uses aux sends now. :D
