simple volume control for monitors...guitar volume pedal?

So i've got some new Event ALP5 monitors and I need a way to get a nice volume knob or fader at my fingertips so i dont have to reach back behind the monitors.

Can i use a stereo volume pedal? Or does anyone know of cheap solution to this??
