Hey guys, i'm new to the forum so go easy
though I have read a large amount of past posts.
My question:
Which of these mics that I have would be most suited to each use for a drum kit? (I don't wanna go out and buy any soon so thats not an option im afraid!)
Because I have a pair of the sennheisers or the vocopros, i'd like to use them as overheads in an XY pair (I don't have any condensors atm
) though at the same time, I have seen the sennheisers used on toms and snares before and they sound pretty great imo!
I'm recording into a Tascam US800 (no mic pre's unfortunately, just the inbuilt ones) into Reaper, windows 7
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks!
Edit:Sorry, I didn't really say very clear, what I meant was: which mic should I assign to each drum? I can have up to 6
