Silly question about my new monitors

Hi all, I'm new to this place but have been soaking up the knowledge like a sponge. There's so much to learn. Anyways, I managed to snag a decently priced pair of Event 20/20bas monitors off of eBay, which I'm using to monitor my synthesizer (Kurzweil K2600X) and computer, both directly (I'm in dire need of a mixer, but that's next paycheque!). On to the silly question:

The back panel of my monitors becomes relatively hot after a few hours of being turned on. This is just the metal panel on the back, not the wood speaker cabinet itself. The monitors are a good enough distance away from a wall, and such, so is this just heat generated by the internal amplifiers? I'm not trying to be too paranoid, but I'm just wondering if this is par for the course. Thanks in advance!

Yes........ unless it's so hot you can't touch it, you have nothing to worry about.
