You are bidding on a used 75-watt Sylvania soft white light bulb. This was used very little in my smoke-free home studio and is a real workhorse. This bulb is in good condition for its age, with only slight green corrosion around the threads.

I'm convinced, deep down in my soul that it's an M520.

What's not certain is if the seller realizes this unit has a separate power supply unit. Giving the benefit of the doubt, at this point, I assume the power supply is bundled with the mixer. I'll ask upon first email contact.

If the power supply is somehow missing, or somehow not part of this auction, then I'd bail from the transaction, immediately.

Although $96 would not be too shabby for a mixer board-less power supply,... IMPLIED is that the M520 INCLUDES it's own power supply unit, as part of the basic deal.

I won't take it, any other way, and if it turns out worst-case scenario, I'd tell them to pound sand!

Gee, big surprise,...

The seller did not have the 520 power supply, nor did she know one even existed. Surprised? I'm not.

I did, however, make clear from the outset that I expect this M520 to be complete, board/mixer/cable, or it was a no-go.

The woman seemed slightly surprised and seems to want to cooperate, to backtrack to the church, and see if the PS-520 and CABLE can be located. Given that it pans out,... after all, this board came out of a CHURCH,... then, as complete, it seems that it will be a sweet deal, indeed.

If the P/S and cable cannot be located, resonably within a few days, then I told her to relist the M520, less power supply, and that I would not buy it as incomplete, despite the bargain-basement bid.

See, if I pop $96 for an incomplete M520 now, then I'll spend the rest of the year, and easily est. another $300, just to locate and procure the power supply and cable.

That's no good deal, in my book. Well, maybe it is, but it's an open-ended gamble that I could find the power supply and cable separately, which is not a sure thing.

I bid on a presumably complete item, and if it's not listed as missing components specifically, then that's a flawed listing, for which I'm not obligated in the transaction.

Did she em' you? Or did you em her? Either way, strange how her mail started working AFTER the auction. Well, I don't blame you. I did look up her feedback and seemed pretty good, so I figure she just doesn't know anything about this stuff.

Any idea what's wrong with the RC90? Do you have any remotes for sale that will work with the 42b? Damn I love buttons:D

The one thing missing on Beck's hilarious take-off of the ebay light bulb is something like this:

"This bulb was used in our church and I believe it to be in working condition, but I have no way to test it."
