Hey Homewreckers, sorry for the late reply on this, a bit of a lost weekend...but, figured I should reply, better late than never.
Guernica-I get what you're saying...very good point. Thanks a lot for that.
A1A2-Thanks! Well, I had the song up in a Real Player version before, but I never posted a thread on it, so maybe you did hear it before. Really appreciate all your kind words, so cool you are playing this stuff for your friends in Taiwan. That is really wild!
B.Sabbath-Not sure my opinion means much... but, that's really cool that you'd want it! I'll check out your song as soon as I get a chance.
erichenryus-Sorry about that, if you ever got it, feel free to let me know what you thought, good or bad. I appreciate the effort, I know Angelfire is crap, and I know we should have a better website, and I realize I've been saying that for a long time!!
TripleM-Thanks very much! That chord is, um, let me think...well the notes are F, B, Eb, G, but what the chord is called, I don't know...I'm gonna call it Fred. You Light Up My Life by Debby Boone!! Well...now I'm gonna hang myself...
CyanJaguar-Thanks, glad you liked it (the song). Yours is always an interesting point of view. I'd like to think it's (as Wes says) 'crazy talk' (the part about checking the chain), but you could be right. For sure, when I listen to most of what's on the radio, I think I'm probably going in the wrong direction, intentionally not going for "air" and "clarity" and other things like that. But I think the mix *could* be done in a way to bring those things out. You'd probably prefer the first version of this song, it was much more commercial and synthetic, and simple, with a very clear upfront sound, but I just didn't like it, couldn't live with myself, so I tried to make it a little more...different somehow (in, perhaps, a vain attempt at 'selling in' ) .... Thanks Cyan.
crawdad-You say the bestest things! Thanks very much. And thanks very much for mentioning me in the vocal department, that's especially nice (even if you're just being nice). A lost Beatles album...now that's crazy talk!

But seriously, I really appreciate your comments, especially coming from someone as talented as you.
Kramer-Hey man, thanks! Right now, we're rollin' coins for beer and a 99 cent Big Mac. And thanks for signing the guestbook!!
Riku-Thanks, appreciate it!
Wes-Thanks. (As you can see, I went ahead and posted this tune since you didn't completely barf upon hearing it, so...thanks for your feedback!)
Keith (chessrock)-Hey, that's cool that you're not thrilled with this one. I'm only thrilled with maybe half the tunes myself

. I like your idea of switching parts. That's a really good idea...and it would be great to be on top for a change!! Thanks a lot Keith, greatly appreciated.
Jon (jjtcorsair)-Thanks. I must say that it would be really interesting to record in a true pro studio. Maybe one day...
Denis (a modified dog)-Thanks a lot. Vocals too upfront? Hmmm...just goes to show ya. Definitely need to adjust stuff one way or another. Thanks for checking it out.
Twist-What am I doing here? Well, uh, I've got to be somewhere...

I'm sort of familiar with the Rembrandts and Michael Penn, I know they're in The Beatle vein, so that's great. Thanks a lot, glad you like it. Will let you know for sure if and when there's a CD.
Thanks,
Macle
